PRIVATE SINGING AND PIANO LESSONS –

Siblings receive a family discount on two or more lessons per week. 

Lessons are to be paid per school term. The term has a minimum of 8 lesson. We issue invoices before the start of each term.

If your lessons are not paid for, on or before the start of the term, your time slot will be considered forfeited.

  • Enrolment

    1. Students can enroll in casual or ongoing lessons.

    2. Students can enroll mid-term subject to lesson availability. Mid-term enrolments are invoiced on a pro-rata basis.

    3. Students can book casual lessons subject to availability. Casual lessons are invoiced at casual rates and tuition payable at completion of each lesson.

  • Tuition

    1. Students must pay for ongoing lessons in full 14 days before the commencement of the term. The Studio accepts payment by electronic funds transfer.

    2. Tuition fees are non-refundable, to the extent permitted by law.

  • Late payments

    1. Students who do not pay the tuition fees by the due date will receive a reminder from the Studio via email or SMS.

    2. If payment is more than 14 days overdue, a $20 late payment fee applies per each 30-day period.

    3. Late payment of fees may result in loss of student’s time slot and forfeiture of any entitlement to make up lessons.

  • Cancellations/Missed Lessons

    1. If the Studio changes or cancels a lesson, that lesson will be rescheduled, credited or refunded.

    2. The Studio may provide a substitute teacher.

    3. Make-up lessons are available for students who provide more than 24 hours’ cancellation notice.

    4. The Studio will NOT provide any make-up lessons or refunds to students who give less than 24 hours cancellation notice.

    1. Rescheduled lessons can only be made up in the same term, so please reschedule your lessons as soon as possible. Any missed lessons not rescheduled will be forfeited.

  1. Make-up lessons are subject to teacher availability.

  2. Make-up lessons are limited to one per term and must be used during the term.

  3. If you are unwell or isolating, please don’t attend an in-person lesson. Swap your in-person lesson for an online lesson.

  1. Students who advise planned absences will not be charged if they notify the Studio before the commencement of the term.

  • Illness

    1. Students who are unwell and unable to attend their scheduled lesson should contact the Studio to reschedule the lesson.

    2. Students should not attend lessons if they are unwell.

    3. If you are unwell or isolating, please don’t attend an in-person lesson. Swap your in-person lesson for an online lesson.

    4. The Studio reserves the right to terminate a lesson or to refuse to allow a student to participate if the Studio believes that the student is unable or unwilling to behave appropriately.

  • Trial Lessons

    1. A trial lesson is a single obligation music class.

    2. The Studio invoices trial lessons at casual rates.

  • Termination of lessons

    1. Students who wish to terminate ongoing lessons must give at least 4 weeks’ advance notice prior to the commencement of any new term. Notice must be in writing by email to tochalnarada@hotmail.com.

    2. The Studio will charge a termination fee of $150 for any Student who provides less than 4 weeks’ notice.

    3. Unused tuition fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Materials

    1. The Studio may require students to purchase music books and resources, through the Studio, or at a specialized music store.

    2. Students must bring a notebook to all lessons for the teacher to record lesson notes and homework.

  • School & Public Holidays

    1. Lessons are generally available during holiday periods and attendance is optional for ongoing students.

    2. Students who wish to attend lessons during holiday periods must provide the Studio with 4 weeks advance notice.
